Full Disclosure – I have known and worked with Sarah for many years and I consider her a good friend. So, it was a no-brainer to seek out Sarah to be our celebrant. She was – of course – incredibly attentive, intuitive and sensitive to our vision for our special day. She was with us step by step and helped us craft a ceremony that was very personal and particular to us and our world. For two men in their 60s, this was no small feat. From the choice of significant, celtic-colours for our hand-binding, to the composing and communication of our love story for the ceremony, Sarah was warm and supportive.

On the big day, Sarah was amazing. Our ceremony was outdoors and of course the inevitable happened and it began raining. Sarah, completely unfazed, took charge, and relocated the guests and the wedding party undercover and recommenced the ceremony seamlessly. Rather than detracting from the day, Sarah’s deft handling and jovial attitude turned what could have been tragic into a warmly memorable feature.
